The software tools I have been using lately have been the Microsoft Office and Adobe families, but I wonder what tools other technical writers in Australia use... Would you like to share your thoughts.
I've just moved to Australia from the US a week ago (!!), but I can tell you one tool that I love:
Scrivener (found at http://literatureandlatte.com/)
I use scrivener whenever I want to write a document without being stuck to a linear way of writing. Then I output it and format it in Word (or Pages for the Mac).
P.S. I don't have any connection to Scrivener except my love for it!

Scrivener looks nice, but it's a solely Mac product, by the looks of things.
ReplyDeleteI have used Author IT since 2001.
